Gesture has become the focus of my 3D work. In order to keep the sculptures loose and free I often begin sessions with models by doing quick gesture drawing and loose brush work. The brush work began in 1991 with a year of living in Japan.
The latest Sumi e have been matted and framed combining 3 separate images. Framed size is 26" x 30". |
