Gesture has become the focus of my 3D work. In order to keep the sculptures loose and free I often begin sessions with models by doing quick gesture drawing and loose brush work. The brush work began in 1991 with a year of living in Japan.
I sometimes add color to give an extra dimension to the work.
Most of the 2 figure framed images are 23" x 18.5". |
